Jeanine D Guidry, M.P.S., M.S.

Jeanine Guidry is a Ph.D. student in Social and Behavioral Sciences, as well as an affiliate graduate researcher at VCU's Center for Media+Health. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Health Sciences from Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and her M.P.S. in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University. Her research agenda focuses on the use of social media and mobile technology in health communications, as well as the use of social media among nonprofits. Her recent work includes the use of visual social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest in health communications. Some of her research is currently in press at the Journal of Social Marketing, Health Communication, and Corporate Communication: An International Journal.
