Clinical Faculty Scholars

Grant No. P60MD002256

The Clinical Faculty Scholars Program at VCU is a three-year training initiative for clinical faculty, housed in the Department of Health Behavior and Policy.

The program is an opportunity for junior clinical faculty to acquire multidisciplinary training that will enable them to conduct health services and population health/health disparities research that will impact clinical policy and practice on the local and national levels.

Faculty scholars receive a personalized curriculum designed to provide training in research methodology and extensive mentoring that culminates with the submission of a National Institutes of Health grant proposal and peer-reviewed manuscripts. Scholars also receive stipends for travel, computer equipment and other supplies.
