Zhanna Medetbekova, M.D., Ph.D., received her medical degree in pediatrics at the Semipalatinsk State Medical Institute in Semey, Kazakhstan. After completing her residency in pediatric neurology at the Almaty State Institute of Doctor’s Improvement, she worked as a neurologist in several city hospitals in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She currently serves as the head of the Robotic and Functional Laboratory at the Republican Children’s Rehabilitation Center in Astana, Kazakhstan. Her research interests include rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other infections of the central nervous system.
Arman Alpysbayev, M.D., Ph.D., received his medical degree from Akmola State Medical University in Astana, Kazakhstan. After serving as Chief Medical Officer at a Kazakh military hospital, he worked as an anesthesiologist in an intensive care unit at the Central Rail Road Hospital in Astana, Kazakhstan. Later, he served as anesthesiologist at both the Astana City Oncology Center and at the Kazakh National Research Center for Emergency Medicine. He is currently an anesthesiologist and emergency care physician at the National Research Cardiac Surgery Center in Astana. His research interests include the treatment of chronic pain and emergency care management.
