Dr. Jeanine Guidry, HBP alumni, presents latest research at DC Health Communication Conference

Dr. Jeanine Guidry, assistant professor of public relations at the Robertson School of Media and Culture, presented several research studies at the biennial DC Health Communication (DCHC) conference last weekend.

Dr. Guidry moderated a research session on global health communication in Africa and South America and presented two new research projects. One study analyze how psychosocial characteristics relate to a future Zika vaccine uptake among women of reproductive age. Another study examined how the HPV vaccine is discussed and portrayed on the social media platform Pinterest.
